Because EMMA values the environment and corporate social responsibility, supporting more sustainable production and processing of leather at our suppliers is a priority for us.
100% of our leather comes from a tannery that is Leather Working Group Gold certified. EMMA thus supports more environmentally friendly leather production.
Our parent company Hultafors Group, of which we are part, is also committed to supporting more responsible leather production around the world and has therefore also been a member of Leather Working Group (LWG) since 2019.
Leather Working Group is a non-profit organisation that does audits on the entire chain to check that they adhere to all environmental standards, from water and energy use, to chemicals and product traceability.
