magazine Arbo About feet and differences
22 March 2016
The natural anatomy of women's feet is different from that of men. Female workers wearing ‘male' safety shoes is far from ideal, says specialist magazine Arbo.
The differences between men and women are so great that it seems that men and women come from another planet, writes the American author John Gray in his book "Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus." This may not be much different for the anatomy of the foot. There is an article about this very topic in specialist magazine ‘Arbo’. “Until recently, female employees wore small-size safety shoes designed for men in the workspace. Today, we recognise that this is not ideal for the fit and comfort of the female wearer. A properly fitting safety shoe is essential for walking comfort and safety”, says Ronny van der Wegen, Product Development Manager at Emma Safety Footwear.
