In 2015 the economy has slowly recovered and there was more money to spend on orders. Increasingly, there are signs that the lean years are over. I sincerely hope that this is also the case for you.
Emma started out the year 2015 with an expansion of its collection with the White range for the food industry, the Heavy Duty range for the heavy and offshore industries, the new S1P for logistics and a completely new moulded women's range made of microfiber.
We are also bringing the sustainability theme into practice. We have taken the first steps towards developing a recyclable shoe and have also introduced a 'smart shoe' (i-Emma), which makes use of sensor technology.
As expected, our company has continued to grow this year, but our competitors are not sitting idle. At the A+A alone I counted more than 275 competing colleagues!
A recent customer satisfaction survey showed you gave us as a rating of 7.9. That makes us very proud. But at the same time it encourages us to do even better in 2016.
Despite the increase in raw material prices and the ailing euro, our prices will be kept the same in 2016. This is one of the ways in which we hope to intensify our relationship with you further.
